“After graduation, Wolke Kluppell directed two nice videoclips for songs by Sander Vos & De Waterlanders: Pim Pam Pet and Marion. We are showing both of them: Marion, the clip is a great videoclip. A lot is going on the screen, both in the foreground and on the background. It’s a very original illustration of the song and it’s text. Like the song it’s very catchy and worthwhile to be seen many times and… a tribute to the dying phenomenon of the telegram. I think the clip can compete with a lot of famous international clips from the same era, and so is Pim Pam Pet. It’s really nice to see so much going on in the screen, so much originality and creativity and it isn’t distracting from the song itself, but supporting it. Both clips are with Roef Ragas, a great Dutch actor who suddenly died from a cardiac arrest at the peak of his success. I am happy he survives through his movies, among which these two gems.” R.W.
